Herbal Infusion Concentrate

The following are ratios for making a gallon of an herbal infusion that is four times concentrated.

Herbal Infusion Concentrate Guide

1 1/3 cup of dried herb to make one gallon of a 4X concentrate. Add 3 gallons of water to 1 gallon of herbal infusion concentrate. 4 gallons will give you 64 cups of an herbal infusion.

The math we used for this is 1 teaspoon of dried herb for every 8 ounces of water times 4.

So, 4 teaspoons for every cup and since there are 16 cups in a gallon, we times that by 4 to get 64 teaspoons of dried herb per gallon for a 4X concentrate. To make an even stronger medicinal tonic you can double the formula.
