**The following are ratios for making a gallon of an herbal infusion that is four times concentrated.**

**Herbal Infusion Concentrate Guide**

**1 1/3 cup** of **dried herb** to make **one gallon** of a **4X concentrate**. Add **3 gallons **of water to **1 gallon **of herbal infusion concentrate. **4 gallons **will give you **64 cups** of an herbal infusion.

The math we used for this is **1 teaspoon **of dried herb for every **8 ounces** of water **times 4**.

So, **4 teaspoons** for every **cup** and since there are **16 cups** in a **gallon**, we **times** that by **4** to get **64 teaspoons** of **dried herb** per **gallon** for a **4X concentrate**. To make an even stronger **medicinal tonic** you can **double** the formula.
